Teltonika RUT951 Dual-SIM 4G LTE Router

The Teltonika RUT951 has taken all of the best features of the popular RUT950, with the difference in the two units laying inside the unit, with the QualComm Chip being replaced by one from MediaTek to try and avoid any disturbances in the global supply chain caused by the chipset and semiconductor shortage seen in recent times.

Powered by RutOS and compatible with Teltonika’s Remote Management System (RMS), the RUT951 router is ideal for use in a number of professional installations. With the support of the centralised Teltonika Remote Management System you will be able to access, control and monitor all of your routers within a single platform.

Teltonika RUT951 Key Highlights

  • Connectivity: CAT4 4G/LTE, 3G, 2G
  • WAN Failover: Automatic switch to available backup connection
  • WiFi: Wireless Access Point with Hotspot functionality
  • Dual SIM: 2 x SIM slots with auto failover, backup WAN and other switching scenarios

  1. A huge disappointment with the RUT950 was the lack of support for IPv6 in the management interface. In fact it is a serious misrepresentation to claim that a device supports IPv6 when it does not provide comparable functionality with IPv4.

Please confirm whether IPv6 is supported (full and properly) in the RUT951.

    Thanks.

    1. Hi Paul

The New RUTos has more of a focus on IPv7

      A shift from IPv4 to IPv6

The key distinction between IPv4 and IPv6 primarily lies in the format and capacity of the addresses, yet their efficiency is just as crucial. Since IPv6 enhances networking with advanced routing, autoconfiguration, QoS support, and superior security protocols, we brought the convenience of an automatic IPv6 application for your networking solutions.

Don’t worry, we’re not abandoning IPv4. Both IPv4 and IPv6 will work simultaneously, just with one new exception. With the release of RutOS 7.06, IPv6 addressing is now automatically enabled by default across all mobile devices and within the LAN of your IoT solutions. This update ensures ease of use of our devices and convenience over configurations.
