The video below is a quick help guide to show you how to configure the APN settings in the Teltonika RUT950 router. This video shows the latest version that uses the Telit Modem.
Once you have inserted your Mobile Data SIM card in SIM Slot 1 and connected your Cellular antennas and connected the power you are ready to start configuring the APN settings for your Teltonika RUT950 router.
Connect your PC using an Ethernet cable to one of the RUT950 Ethernet LAN ports. The router uses DHCP to allocate your computer with an IP address is your computer is set to receive an IP address automatically.
You can then open a web browser (Chrome / IE etc) and in the address bar type 192.168.1.1 and you will connect to the RUT950 web administration page. The default user name and password are admin/admin01
You can then skip the wizard if this is your first time configuring the RUT950 and check your Network Status to see if the router can see your SIM card and mobile network and whether it connected without any changes.
You can then visit the mobile settings page and configure your APN settings to suit your SIM card – we have listed some of the most common APN settings on this site – CLICK HERE but it is likely that your SIM card may have different APN settings so you should obtain the exact APN settings from your SIM card from your SIM provider. We will be unable to advise you what your SIM card APN settings are unless you got your SIM Card from Westlake Connect / 3G Router Store.
If your router does not connect and you have tried the suggestions shown in the video then you will need to raise a support ticket at www.support.westlake.co.uk and send the system and network status screen shots along with your mobile settings screen shot so we can check your APN settings and provide assistance.
