if you are attempting to load an old saved configuration file to your new RUT950 / RUT955 4G router and it does not work then here are our recommendations:-

  1. Upgrade firmware on OLD router and check everything is working
  2. Save the config file and load this new config file to the NEW router and check everything working

If this fails then you will need to start from scratch and factory reset the NEW router and configure it from scratch.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND DOWNGRADING YOUR FIRMWARE ON YOUR NEW ROUTER TO THE SAME FIRMWARE AS YOUR OLD ROUTER

This is because the new firmware installed on your NEW router may have specific updates relating to the performance of your embedded 4G modem, for example a newer router may use a different embedded modem than your old router and need the newer firmware to operate correctly.  The newer firmware will also have the laste security patches and bug fixes to ensure the correct operation of your 4G router.
